Choose the finished size of the document in inches. The dimensions are width first and then height. The typical standard page is 8 1/2 inches wide, with a height of 11 inches.

Choose the type of paper you desire. Standard paper is normally 20# paper which is correct for most jobs. If you want thicker paper, choose a paper with a higher number.
